Countryside Park
Blythe Valley Park has 135 acres of Countryside Park and a dedicated nature trail. Its tranquillity and beauty is enjoyed by park occupiers and local visitors. Dedicated parking is available to visitors and can be found adjacent to Cornwall House. Parking permits can be obtained from the Park Management Office in Cornwall House during office hours, and from Park Security out of office hours and at weekends.
Blood Donors
The National Blood Service blood mobile visits the Park every 4 months and can be found on the Virgin Active car park. The next visit to the park is 5th May 2009. To book your appointment to donate blood please call 0845 7711711
Mobile Library
The Solihull Mobile Library visits the Park fortnightly on Thursdays.
The Mobile Library parks by the bus stop at Infor (the Phoenix building) from 1200-1230 and then outside Regus & St James's Place from 1230-1pm. Membership is free and open to all.
Please take along with you proof of your name and address and you will be given a membership card which you can use at any mobile library or any Solihull library. A wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, as well as reference information and details of local services available are held on board. Each adult is allowed up to 12 books and each child up to 8 books, you can keep books for 4 weeks. For further information contact Kate in the Park Management Office on 0121 701 5582.
Pool Cycles
The Park Management Office have purchased 6 “hybrid” cycles for the use of all Park Occupiers. There are 3 cycles for the Ladies, and 3 cycles for the Gents.
The cycles are suitable for on and off road use, and will be provided with helmets and locks. The cycles are kept in the cycle racks at Cornwall House.
So, why not get out in the fresh air in your lunch hour, enjoy the local countryside with your friends and take advantage of this great new scheme.
Cycles are free to use and booking is essential - all we ask is that you give a £20 deposit which will be refunded when you return the bike.

Travel Office
The Park has a dedicated Travel Office and Information Centre which can be found in the Park Management Office in Cornwall House. A wide range of travel information including public transport timetables, local walks and local service information is available. Café/Bar/Restaurant coming soon…………………
Planning has been approved for this most welcomed facility, which will be located on Plot E2 in between the Phoenix Building (Infor) and Reed Smith buildings.
Lunchtime Sessions
Regular lunchtime activities such as holistic therapies, Spanish lessons and de-stress workshops are held in the Park Management Office, call Kate or Deborah on 0121 701 5580 and ask for a diary of events. |
