Blythe Valley Park Charity Fun Run Come and run for a charity of your choice at the Blythe Valley Park Charity Fun Run, on Sunday 14th September 2008 which is being organised by Blythe Valley Park Management and Shirley Lions. A first team player from Birmingham City Football Club will be starting the run and there will be a steel band to entertain runners and spectators. There will be a bouncy castle , refreshments and various stalls All runners will receive a medal and certificate for competing. All entry fees will be donated to the Maria Watt Birmingham Foundation, a local charity providing support and raising awareness for teenages with leukaemia. Every day in the UK, 6 teenagers are diagnosed with cancer.
